About Roseville B&B
Roseville is in the village of Guilden Sutton, on the edge of Chester. It’s only 10 minutes to the city centre, but we look out over fields. Chester is a lovely city which is enjoying something of a renaissance – find out more about it here.
We have a large, modern house, with large and quiet gardens behind the house, which guests are welcome to use. There are plenty of sheltered places to sit and read - or just to sit and relax!
The bedrooms are light and airy, and furnished to a very high standard. We built the house ourselves – we really like it and hope you will, too. It’s a comfortable and contemporary at the same time.
We keep our own chickens, and have 4 different types - Blackrock, Speckledy, Sussex, and Warrens. They earn their keep by providing eggs for us and for you, but they also make fascinating pets! The hens have their own large run in the garden, off to one side, so they’re not truly free range but can do their own thing. They're really relaxing to watch, so do go and say 'hello' to them while you're here!
We have a dog called Buster – he’s a friendly black Lab, and although he comes in the house, he’s not allowed in the rooms that our guests use.
We really enjoy welcoming guests into our home and hope you will choose to come and stay with us. This website will give you lots of information, but if there’s anything you’d like to know that we’ve forgotten to include, just call us to ask.
